    Fantastic idea! I was just writing it up when I noticed it was already suggested. I do believe this is the way to go. They could, for example, prompt visitors to enter the key when they first land on the page and then save it in a cookie for that user or have them enter it in their user profile. This will shift the financial burden to the visitor, which is ideal.
