Add Snazzy Info Window to Snazzy Maps (popup for marker)
It would be great to add same editing capabilities directly to Snazzy Maps editor for marker popups. Not being able to add a picture (like in complex-styles on GitHub) to the popup is the main missing feature that stops us from using Snazzy Maps. Let me know when you are planning to implement this and I will buy your business add-on immediately!
Even if at the beginning I would need to copy some snippets from somewhere, it would be great.15 votes -

Map Search Bar
The ability to search for locations on your map would be fantastic. I have tried endlessly to add a search function in the code, however I have no idea how to do it.

Side list panel for all marker locations
Very similar to the way there's a left panel when you Build a Map, can that style panel be added to the export?
However, it would just list the Marker locations so users can see a list of locations instead of having to click each marker to read the pop-up. This would be handy if you have dozens of markers.
When a user clicks on one location, the corresponding map marker would pop-up.
Also, instead of the labels (Name and Location), maybe pull in the pop-up content?

Allow downloading multiple map images at once
I love this feature - so much. It would be awesome to have a feature that allowed you to select an area you wanted to download, and how many "tiles" of images you wanted (increasing the number of tiles increasing the resolution), and then Snazzy Maps would automatically determine the image scale and download the many tiles that could be placed together in a CAD software, etc. to create a super high-res map. I would use that feature everyday. Of course, I second having higher-resolution image downloads available as well.
Again - love this feature and this site very much.

Allow Terrain Maps
I am not sure if this is even possible, but it would be great if we could style terrain maps. I would like to be able to see some relief textures on top of any particular style.

Add custom marker icon / graphic
There should be a way to upload a custom icon / graphic for the map marker(s). I know this is possible through the google maps API using var image = 'customimage.png';
I believe adding this functionality to the snazzymaps web interface would be incredibly useful for custom styles. OR, This functionality should at least be added to the wordpress plugin, so a custom marker can be set alongside the styled maps.

snazzy maps for Openstreetmap ?
a complete open source service would be great !
8 votesHey,
Thanks for the suggestion. I’m not too familiar with OpenStreetMap but from what I’ve seen it looks really complicated to style them.
Are you familiar with styling OpenStreetMaps at all?

Allow for query params in the published maps
The published map should allow for query params that let you share maps with any extent, eg: in Google Maps https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/Sydney+NSW/@-33.8708571,151.2018973,14z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x6b129838f39a743f:0x03017d681632a850
7 votesThanks for the suggestion. I’ll have to see if there is a standard set of query parameters that Google supports through their API. If there isn’t we would have to just make our own query params and initialize the map with them.
I’ll look into what’s possible.

Formats to embed the map on a website rather than iframe
Hi! It would be extremely useful if you can provide us any other format to embed the map on the webpage. The problem I have with the iframe is that: when I add a point of interest in the "built a map" section, I cant link that point with another URL.
I don't know if it is possible? but it would be great!12 votes -
Market your Retro template
Users with visual impairments would appreciate an alternative to Google maps. When users print the Google map they see on their screen, the map printout is nearly impossible to read. The color and text is much too light. Perhaps a Retro icon could be placed on the seach bar.
Right now, the work around is to capture the screen using Snag It. Then choose Snag It Editor>Image>Filters>Sharpen>100%. The resulting printout is high contast and readable. It works, but is rather awkward.

colorblind friendly tag
It would be great to add a tag to map styles that are colorblind-friendly. You can also have a tag for printer-friendly styles (for printers that print in black and white for instance)

Google can create itinerary when we enter a starting point and a destination. It is useful to show a road to follow for instance. It would be great !

add a search feature to find specific addresses.
You need a way to search for a specific address, not just styles.
Your street maps are the only ones I can find anymore that are not useless pastel colors that won't print right. I need linework for street maps with names that are actually readable. Google and others do not have that anymore. Yours do.

When someone opens the map, directs to his own coordinates location. (As in official Google Maps)
I would like to have that feature in this website. Thanks!
